Guest Speaker Bill Terry, Meconopsis expert and author of the book "Blue Heaven - Encounters With the Blue Poppy" will present a talk titled "The Perfect Garden: Plant Hunting in Tibet" This is an account of a plant hunting expedition from Chengdu to Lhasa. Poppies are a principal feature but it includes many other alpine plants, as well as a look at Tibetan cuture and life under direct Chinese rule.

Join us for the Annual Plant Exchange. This is a fun way to acquire some rare and interesting plants. The general rule is -bring a plant, get a plant - up to 4 plants. It is OK to bring more. We will be under the tent next to the rock garden.
