January 19th, Regular Monthly Meeting, 2 PM at MTA Bldg. on Industrial Road, Palmer (2nd right off Glenn Hwy after the Fair Grounds)---Speaker will be Les Brake, Owner of Coyote Gardens in Willow. Les's garden has been featured in the magazines: Horticulture, Sunset, Country Gardens, and Gardens Illustrated.

His program, "One Man's Garden in Alaska" was presented, by Les, in New Orleans in 2007 for the benefit of the hurricane-devastated New Orleans Botanical Garden.

SITE STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION

 

Educational programs and/or special speakers are presented at the September
through March meetings. All meetings are open to the public. Regular meetings,
which alternate between Anchorage and the Matanuska Valley, are held on the
third Saturday of each month. Field Trips and Plant sales are held during the
summer months. Members also help to maintain the Rock Gardens at the
Alaska Botanical Garden in Anchorage.
